Sign up for your Student Led Conference

Student Led Conferences are Oct 22nd

Sign up NOW for your conference using the
online scheduler

In middle school, we invite parents to come to a conference led by their student. Students are given an opportunity to share a portfolio of their work with their parents. Teachers will be available for questions as needed during the conferences.
Each time slot is a 20 minute conference in the Alder pod.  You conference time is reserved for the core classes, please allow extra time at Mirror Lake that night to visit electives and the PE department.   Click here to access the online scheduler and reserve your conference time with the Icebreakers team. We look forward to seeing you and giving your student a chance to share their efforts and achievement so far in 6th grade.

Please contact the team teachers if you are not going to be able to attend conferences so we can arrange for students to share their portfolios at another time.

Stomp Out Bullying

Stomp out bullying

Today ASD went blue in an effort to promote the national Stomp Out Bullying campaign  speak up to stop bullying and cyber bullying.

Blue Shirt Day is a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about bullying prevention.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 8 in 10 children will experience bullying in their schools. It’s up to all of us together to be part of the solution. Today,  participating ASD middle and high school students and staff wore blue shirts and wristbands in order to start a communitywide conversation in recognition of World Day of Bullying Prevention.
